Is there any flea or tick? Ticks are not as mobile and fast.

If fleas and flea comb to get a bowl of hot water. Comb the puppy, and dip the comb in water.

You can also contact your veterinarian and ask for ways to safely kill fleas in his young age. Most medications for animals of fleas are much older.

Insert GLOP (I do not know whether to stifle the technical term, but I doubt it), petroleum jelly to the tick that guy, and then you can get to. Do not fire. End of the tip of your puppies can become infected, and you have a very sick puppy.
Proticall for dogs can be used in puppies aged 4 weeks - BUT active ingredient in this product is permethrin. Unfortunately, lead is a neurotoxin permethrin (epileptic seizures may be) and as a carcinogen. You must decide if the risk of ticks is greater than the risk of the use of permethrin.
Talk to your veterinarian
Good luck.
By the way, if you have ticks in your house, you treat the house as well.

Why does a puppy have to start from 6 weeks? Too young to be weaned, not to mention the medical ticking. Why do you keep them in a place infested with fleas to start (as others have said, sounds like fleas, ticks are slow)? Even if you do not get rid of fleas on him, whether to cure the original problem ... Getting fleas out of the landfill, would like to hold it, need to get an exterminator to get there again soon! Take him to a vet to receive proper care. Mainly because he is so young, dog lovers here feel much better knowing that a professional to make sure it's safe and healthy. I know that puppies are impressive, but they are a big responsibility. I propose to you a little in the breeding of puppies and take it to a vet soon!

Ticks run very fast? Only slam 'em with a brick, not so fast!

Not too young for medication of the tick. Get Frontline spray, which can be used for 2 days and treats fleas and ticks. Never use flea, tick and storage of drugs, the worm pet! Go to a vet, you can type what you need. I hope you have one and has already begun his regime, at least de-worming.

EDIT: Good point Aussie Mum - I do not think you speak the same ticks. You are not be performed without haste. The little things and the black by accident? You are smart. For the love of God, you take the puppy to a veterinarian to have a lot to do to learn. To ignore the people here say that young, even for drugs against fleas and ticks, because it is not big enough for frontline spray.
